Capitu's Harry/Draco Recs

Title: Eternally Consistent

Summary: Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter assumed they would never be anything but civil enemies, until Potter lands on Malfoy's doorstep, bleeding, covered in curses, and acting very strangely indeed.

Such an exciting and interesting fic (it's going to keep you in your toes!). Draco is so snarky, bless him, and Harry and Draco's relationship, interactions and build up are really cool. The way they both know exactly what to tell each other to get that reaction, the one they were looking for is priceless.

The story is super interesting. I don't want to give the plot away, but basically Harry and Draco have to work together, or rather Draco has to work on a time anomaly with the Time-Turners and Harry is there to protect him. Only at the beginning of all this, Harry (future!Harry) shows up at Malfoy Manor injured and asking for help, leaving only a note and a Time-Turner behind, but the whole thing – Draco's interactions with that Harry, are at odds with his interactions with current!Harry, so he proceeds with caution while Harry (present Harry?) is doing everything in his power to, er, get closer to Draco.

I know it sounds confusing, and I'm probably making a mess of explaining, but you ought to trust me, this story is great. The characterisations, their bickering and how they try to get along, Hermione and Millie (they are together!) are awesome.

Title: Tea and No Sympathy

It's been nearly a year since the unpleasant business at Hogwarts, and Draco's getting on with his life quite nicely, thank you, until Harry sodding Potter steps in and ruins it all, just like always. At first, though, the time loop seems liberating. For the first time in his life, he can do anything, say anything, be anything, without consequence. But the more Draco repeats the day, the more he realises the uncomfortable truth: he's falling head over heels for the speccy git. And suddenly, the time loop feels like a trap. For how can he ever get Harry to love him back when time is, quite literally, against him?

Oh my god, this fic. ^^ So good!

Well, the summary there tells you exactly what the fic is about. Draco is trapped in a time loop, repeating the same day over and over and he firmly believes it's all tied up to Harry and his reaction to this speech Draco is supposed to give (and gives, too) the day he's living again and again.

And Draco tries so hard, changing things so the outcome is different, but falling in love with Harry harder and harder in the process.

God, I don't want to say too much; you have to let this fic (sort of) consume you and take over your life for a moment, because you'll fall in love with Harry, too, and feel for Draco, see how re-living this day changes him. It's brilliant, and trust me, those 70K are going to fly by, it's so good. :D

Title: Brevem Conspectum

Time!Travel fic, and it's awesome.

The story starts with Harry and Draco working on an ancient house, Draco, brilliant curse-breaking, can't undo an enchantment on a door, but it seems benigne, so Harry stepts through the door and next thing he knows, he wakes up in a different time, with a very naked Draco next to him, and a whole life which he knows nothing of.

It's sweet, because the more Harry sees of this life, the more he wants. Sweet and sexy.

This fic is bottom!Draco on screen, but it's heavily hinted of bottom!Harry, and off-screen mpreg!Harry. :)

Title: The Secret of the Whole

This fic, this is an amazing companionship to Life is a Twice Written Scroll. Which I recced here.

In that fic, (a remix of The Butterfly Effect) Draco goes back in time, never quite managing the happy, bright future he's been longing for, and after many attempts, he finally does.

In this fic, we see that past, how it comes to happen, how Harry and Draco get together, how their lives were different in a world without Voldemort, how their rivalry -- because it's still there, and it's amazing fun to read -- turns to obsession (oh yes), then to curiosity (yes, that kind!), to experimentation (you know what I mean ;)) and finally to this beautiful relationship they have.

I suggest you read first Life is a Twice Written Scroll, and then this, they are both so lovely.

Title: And So Death Took

This story is surprising, you have to believe the author when it says "nothing is exactly as it seems" and trust them. It is a difficult ride at the beginning, but when you reach the end, you look back, and you know it's worth it.

It's not an adaptation or a re-tell of The Tale of Three Brothers as such, this rather the real consequences three friends suffer by being seduced by the Hallows. It's a story within a story, in which Draco becomes the silent hero, the hand behind the curtains.

It will surprise you and touch your heart, but like I said, you get to the end, and see journey was worth it.

Title: The Many Lives of Love

Oh my god, this story is going to suck you right in, it's AMAZING.

It's just so exciting; a simple time-jump to solve a series of deaths, is botched and now Harry and Draco are sort of trapped in a time loop, which keeps showing them different realities of what their lives, both together and apart would be like. It shows them what it could have been, but all the while you don't know if it's going to happen, so this virtually is going to keep you on the edge of your seat.

You're going to love some version, and your heart will clench with others, and there's some delicious, brilliant sex (and short semi-threesome), a touch of dirty talk, and so much feelings. It's incredible.

Before I get into the why, I need to warn you about this fic: It's going to own your life from the moment you start until the moment you finish it. I think it might have a charm on it that you simply can't stop reading it.

This is story is about what could have been.

Harry's always wondered what would happened if after the Sectumsempra he would have go to Draco and offered his help, talked to him. It's one of his biggest regrets. When he hears from Albus that Draco is getting divorced he wonders again, and he meets a strange old man who gives him a "glimpse", and suddenly he's transported (sort of) to a different world where he did talk to Draco, and as a result of this everything changed. Harry and Draco are together on this reality, they have been for many, many years, they are happy, people who died is alive, and while many things remain the same, his life is completely different, and he's amazed to discover, this might be for the better, in some regards, obviously. However, it's only a glimpse, and there comes the moment in which he has to go back to his real life. But his life vision and perceptions are not the same now. What changes will it truly bring, well, this is what we're going to find out.

And it's painful to see him coming back to his "real life", because he's fallen in love with his 'what could have been' life, with his Draco, with those men he and Draco could have been, even with Maura, Ginny and Blaise's daughter, who doesn't exist in this life but was the only person who ever knew he wasn't his real 'uncle Harry' and became a confidant while he lived that life.

This story is rich. It's rich in emotions, it's rich in characters and characterisation, it's rich in descriptions, it's rich in the attention to detail; all these scenes that were thoughtfully, lovely constructed and cared for to make part of a beautiful tale that is while it is about "What Ifs" it's also about the power you have over your own life, the power over settling for something that is okay or if you'll go for that something that will make it extraordinary.

It's an outstanding story that you can't miss.

Just as the summary says, Draco doesn't died in the Room of Requirement, travelled through time, and Harry is faced with this young Draco, and he's trying very hard to resist him, but Draco is making it difficult.

It's incredible sexy, this fic is, and so very naughty.

I love that this story is written from Harry's POV, a Harry who never went to Hogwarts, who doesn't know magic, but who seems to remember Draco from another life.

This is a gorgeous story based on the Clasic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and it's incredible.

In which Draco is visited by ghosts (and you know, in the Harry Potter world these are real ghosts) and they show him what he's life could be, what he risks to lose and what he could have, if only he lets go of his insecurities and fears, if only he lower the walls he's build around his heart and lets Harry in.

It's so sexy and touching and just beautiful, there are no words. Honestly. It's delicious in every sense.

Title: Waiting For Draco & Waiting For Harry

Draco is transported to the future, which is Harry's present, and then he goes back to Harry's past, while Harry waits in the future, which is their present.

It sounds confusing, but it really isn't. Obviously. It's very cool.

It's also very sweet, to see them how they fall in love, and all the sacrifices they make so they can be together, properly.

This is a time travel fic. After an accident in Potions Harry and Draco are transported to a different Universe, where they live together, and not just as roommates either.

They have to cope with being different people than who they are, with being in a relationship they don't want, and with this reality they are living in while trying to come back to their own world, while Voldemort and his supporters are still out there. And in the meantime, they have dreams about the people they are supposed to be, and it's affecting them.

It's long and plotty, and very interesting, to watch them being boys trying to be adults and experimenting and dealing with all these feelings, knowing each other all over again.
