As the summary says, this story starts with Harry, who is coming out of a rather, not messy, but dramatic divorce, starts meeting Draco after many years. Suddenly he starts running into him or rather, they run into each other in the most unlikely places, and it's always by coincidence, but soon they learn there's a connexion between them, something pulling them together, but when they learn the nature of this bond, well, they fight it, they refuse it, and they even try to break it.

I'm not going to tell you what happens then! ^^ But I'll tell you this story is super intense, and the sex (there's dirty talking!!) is delicious. The Veela twist is very original.

This is such an amazing story. It's got so many feels. In one hand we have Harry, who has had such a hard life, who lost a baby before he was born, he's still suffering that lost, longing for a family, in a marriage that while is comfortable it stopped bringing joy to his life.

And in the other hand we have Draco coming out of an abusive relationship, pregnant with a child that he didn't plan. Both their lives take a turn when they make a Vow, so Draco will give his child to Harry, and Harry will provide support and ensure Draco's well-bring during his pregnancy.

But this will throw off balance Harry's life, will force him to really see his life and make a choice between what's comfortable and happiness. This journey is so touching, there are great characterisations of Luna and Hermione, and both Harry and Draco are amazing.

Title: Three Boxes and a Scrapbook

Oh my god, have you read this fic yet?? It's so, so awesome.

The story starts as Harry and Draco's bond is dissolved and Draco leaves for Paris, but then as Harry stays (so much delicious pining!), he remembers and takes you back to some of the most memorable moments in their marriage, something that started as an accident and chaos, with lots of crazy fights, it shows you how it became something that worked, something real, until Harry's realisation that he misses Draco and wants him back.

I'm telling you, this walk down memory lane is filled with amazing moments, funny, crazy, sweet and loving that made their life together worth fighting back for. It's got beautiful characterisations and the most amazing assembly of supportive characters, Pansy, Hermione, Ron, Bill! Bill, needs a special mention because he's just perfect in this and you'll end up a bit in love with him as well. It's just filled with details you're going to love. It's a beautiful ride.

Oh, my god. You have to read this story. It's amazing!

It all starts with Draco always winding up at Harry's house. It's a curse, actually. Like, he tries to Floo to the Ministry for work, he ends up at Harry's place. He tries to fly to the Ministry, he ends up in Harry's yard. He tries to take the Knight Bus, he ends up at Harry's doorstep. And so on and so forth. He's only able to leave Harry's place at all if he's with Harry, which is all kinds of awesome.

And from then on, it only gets better. It's funny, there's UST by the buckets, and it's got lovely character development and Harry is hot as hell. Honestly, what are you waiting for? Read! :D

Title: Magic's Memory

This is such a cute story. It's about Harry and Draco's magic being compatible from the moment they met. Their magic is almost sentient; not a different being from themselves, but with a different sort of awareness And now that Draco released from Azkaban after years of being imprisoned his magic reacts wildly, and Harry being a Healer expert in Magic Cores treats him.

I loved that once they are aware of their magic compatibility they do not fight it, they embraced it, which makes the whole story to have a very sweet undertone.

Wonderful things happen when Harry and Draco get stuck together, and this fic is one of those. In a potions accident Harry and Draco get their arms literally stuck together, but don't worry, they see our ways soon. It's sweet, fun, just right side of emotional and a whole lot of sexy! The characterisations are amazing, and there are so many little details to love. It's lovely this story.

Ohh! This story is just so much fun. Harry and Al are going to spend a few days at Malfoy Manor, for reasons, okay? :D And Scorpius has this brilliant idea to cast a spell to help Harry and Draco get along, but what this spell does is make Harry and Draco able to hear each other thoughts. The results are, well, probably what you hoped they would be. It's awesome.

Of all the potions mishaps I've read, this is one of the coolest. It's like the summary says; Harry and Draco have to brew and take a potion that was supposed to link their hearts, but of course they messed it up and it's linked their, erm, I don't need to spell what, yeah? And so now when one gets aroused, so does the other. Then Draco thought it'd be funny to give Harry a stiffy one in the middle of class, and naturally Harry has to repay the favour.

It's really fun, with a lot of sexual tension, and super, super hot.

Title: Broken Dreams

Summary: When Healer Malfoy answers an Auror field emergency summons, being stuck experiencing Harry Potter's memories while he sleeps is not at all what he wants to be doing, but it seems that the curse that joins them is only the tip of the crime about to be unravelled.


This is such a great story. Healer Draco Malfoy answers a call to tend an Auror hurt while on a mission, but when he gets there and see Harry badly wounded, Harry and Draco connect, bond of sorts, when Draco is hit with the same curse (Sectumsempra!) and now they share each other memories in the way of dreams. Draco learns about Harry, about his issues with sex and intimacy.

I loved how Harry is written here, his vulnerability and growing self- acceptance, it's just lovely. And the sex is beyond hot!

Title: Sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go

Summary: The fae have faded, and they've passed on elemental abilities. Harry is Chosen, of course (isn't he always?), and he has to work his way through the minefield of having an Elemental mate. (warnings on the header fic)


I love the theory behind this story.

The Realm of the Fae is weak, and so they seek for help from all magical creatures. Some witches and wizards are chosen as Elementals to control the four elements. Harry and Draco are chosen, Harry as an Air elemental and Draco as Fire.

It's really lovely, the descriptions of how Harry feels the wind, how it talks to him, it's almost poetical, and the way the Fire, as scared as Draco is at it at the beginning is so very protective of him.

But there's more to being an Elemental than to control their elements, as Harry and Draco will discover, when they learn of their chosen mate.

It's lovely and original, and even with the connotations of the alpha/omega dynamics, which for me tend to be about power and submission, this story I found to be very gentle.

Title: Remind You What You Did When You Wake

Summary: A damaged-but-not-broken Harry in the clutches of Death Eaters and a caught-up-in-circumstances Draco who's not actually evil.

This is such a powerful story, one of those high-impact fics that stays with you for a long time.

Harry and Ron have been captured by Death Eaters, Lucius Malfoy chief among them. They torture and violate them, both mentally and physically, and Draco, he's there too, but he's a spy, yet, he is coerced into torturing Harry, but as he does this, he opens his mind to Harry, letting Harry know how much he hates doing this, how sorry he is.

Eventually though Harry and Ron escape and defeat Voldemort, and I know I'm rushing here, and you'll have to forgive me because this 'eventually' covers Draco and Snape playing a huge part of it, with Draco actively keeping them alive during their captivity. But even after all this happened, that connection of the mind that Draco opened for Harry didn't close, and so Harry and Draco are bonding in a way, Harry has complete access to Draco's every thought.

Now, that the war is over and won, you have to remember that Harry and Draco are both very damaged and traumatised by what they did and suffered, yet, they have this link, a kinship of sorts, and are living together, trying to live past what happened.

It's not easy, it's not easy with Draco's growing feelings for Harry, which he practically shouts at Harry constantly without even meaning to, his desire, his want, and Harry's reactions to them, because part of him, a huge part of him can't forget what happened while he was a prisoner of the Death Eaters, but an even bigger part of him wants to forgive Draco, too.

It's a great story, intense and powerful, and I know it comes with some pretty strong warnings, but if you only give this story a chance, you're not going to regret it. It's pretty amazing, this fic is.

Title: Time to Eternity

This story is The Weight of Eternity (one of the best Veela fics, already recced here.) written from Harry's POV.

And it's gorgeous. We get to see Harry's side of the story, his feelings, how hopelessly in loved he is with Draco, and see that side of him; caring, devoted, earnest, beautifully naïve, the Harry we all love.

It really complements the original story perfectly. If you've read The Weight of Eternity you'll be reminded just how gorgeous it is, but with this lovely side from Harry. If you haven't read, seriously, do read it, because you're going to fall in love with both these stories.

Title: A Healthy Obsession

He's avoiding Harry because Harry is his mate and he doesn't want to mate with someone who hates him. Harry goes to set things right... I would for Harry's attempts to fail at first before Draco accepts him.


I love a good fic in which Harry is obsessed with Draco. I mean, that's canon, right?

Only this time it's not that Draco is up to no good, he's actually doing Harry a favour. But Harry will make Draco understand that he can't take his choices for him, even if they are about mating for life.

It's a Veela!Fic! And a wonderful one at that, truly; Harry's obesessing with Draco knows no bounds, with a lovely and intense, brand new bathroom scene. XD

There's something melancholic about this story that will capture you.

It's exactly as the summary says, but the writing, the prose; it's so poetical, so lyrical. The owls and the music are such an integral part of the story. But it's about loneliness and love, too, about hearts speaking to one another through music.

It's really quite beautiful, the writing, the use of the language, the owls and the music. It's a very sedate story.

This story, this story is amazing. I think everybody has recced already, and you know what? It's everything you've read it promised it and then some more.

It makes you think, who is truly fearless? Is it the one who doesn't feel afraid any more, the one who is facing his fears, or is it the one who is afraid, but he keeps going regardless?

It's meaningful, it's sweet, it's emotional, but it's so funny at parts too. It's going to make you laugh, loudly. And I don't mean "oh, that's funny!" kind of funny, I mean a spontaneous burst of delight accompanied with a mirthful sound.

Yet, so emotional your heart is going to be gripped and then melt. And sexy. Sexy sex, sexy kissing, sensual longing. It's a joy, watching Harry discover himself, be elated and brought down by sorrow. But do not despair. There's a moment, half way through, maybe even closer to the ending when you will be fearful, but do not worry, remember, there are no warnings on this fic. You're absolutely safe to read it and enjoy it, and you will. Boy, you will because this story is simply delightful from beginning to end.
