Seriously though, Draco's POV as he goes on and on (and on!) about Harry is hilarious, it's sexy (funny and sexy!) and then the fic is incredibly sweet too. Ohh, and Harry is SUPER charming. :D

Oh man! Look at that summary! It gets even better. Harry and Draco are early for work, and Draco, god, Draco is such an utterly irresistible bastard, Harry pretty much never stood a chance against his advances in a ministry lift. Yes, it's so good!

Two hundred pain receptors per square inch in the human body and it was nothing but background noise in the explosion, the revelation, that was Harry Potter’s body against his.

This fic is fantastic. It was written for the trope Denial, from Draco's POV, and it's about Harry and Draco and this thing they've been having for years and how Harry is ready to call it for what it is, a relationship. Only Draco is not there yet, he's, well, in denial about exactly everything Harry means to him, too.

It's so much more than that though, because through the beautiful writing you can see the way Draco feels about Harry, how he sees him, we get to see a bit how this whole thing started, how it's obvious so much more than Draco is letting on. It's brilliant, the ending is wonderful and just everything. :D

Title: Uncivilized

A much beloved trope here: Draco working for Harry. And oh god, it's brilliant, awesome bickering, and super hot, but I'll get to that.

The story starts with a very irritated Draco at facing his boss's indifference in favour of a "telly-fone", which turns to them bickering, which turns to them fighting, (literally!) Throwing each other paperweights and inkpots and ultimately becoming a fistfight, which naturally turns to sex. The hottest ~angry sex ever. \o/

Title: All the Important Words Unspoken

This fic is utterly delightful. 73K that just flew by as I read them. :) It starts when Draco comes back to England after living for the last few years in Geneva because her mum and Mrs Greengrass have come to the agreement is quite right time their children get married and they indeed make a great match.

Of course, Astoria and Draco themselves are not very pleased with this decision, and after a slightly off first meeting they finally agree they need to thwart their mothers and for this they have a plan. As Draco is not likely to ever be interested in another woman, they decide to find a better prospect for Astoria. (Charlie Weasley! Who is awesome, by the way.)

At the same time, when Harry and Hermione learn that these two are forced to married they come with their own plan to help them, and their plan is basically to keep them busy. So Hermione, Head of the Magical Law Enforcement Department offers Astoria a Muggle Legal Liaison position, since Astoria is such a spirited activist for Muggle Women's rights. As for Draco, Draco will work along with Harry, Head Auror, in crime scenes and gathering evidence for scientific analysis.

And as all this happens, we see Astoria fighting for Muggle Women's rights and welfare and Harry and Draco investigating an international smuggling ring.

It's really, really entertaining, the characterisations of - oh damn, everybody! - are brilliant, and seeing Harry and Draco ~discovering each other is wonderful. And Victorian Era AU, which just makes the whole thing extra charming. It's lovely.

Title: The Kaleidoscope Charm, or 50 Shades of Rainbow Magic

Summary: Getting Draco Malfoy as a boss was not the worst thing that happened to Harry; getting a crush on him was.

This fic is so delightful, oh my god.

As the summary says, it's not so much that Harry's new boss is Draco, but the fact he's developing a crush on him. ^^

Let me give you a bit of background to this fic: Draco is the new Head of the new Curse and Lock Breaking Department, and Harry is the Auror Liaison, which basically mean Draco is Harry's boss. And Draco is not the easiest boss to work with, but that's fine, too, because Harry is a good Auror, he's efficient. Only when feelings are involved, it's a little more complicated.

There's plenty of oblivious!Harry in this fic, if you like that, you're going to love this story, and there pining, yep. There's also a statue of an angel, but you'll learn what's that about in the fic. ^^

They have really interesting cases, too, which will explain the title. Interesting and sweet. :)

Title: Through the Flames We Run

Summary: Random chance sends the opportunity to work with Potter straight into Draco's lap, and he doesn't exactly mind it, to tell the truth. But then the disappearances start, and as they strive to solve a case that becomes increasingly sinister as time goes on, Draco's thoughts become filled with both Potter and the little girl that happened upon Draco in quite the same way as Potter did.

I admit, the summary of this fic had me at "Potter straight into Draco's lap". I was done, and once I started reading I couldn't be happier.

Indeed, Harry does land right into Draco's lap, but there's a lot more happening in this fic. The Floo Network has started to malfunction, first sending people to different places, then people disappearing altogether. Luckily Auror Draco Malfoy is on the case, but you know how's he working with? Harry Potter, who works as Floo Network overseer. Together they will solve this.

But again, there's more than that. There's attraction, and there's resistance to that attraction, pining, lovely characterisations and a brilliant ending.

Title: Somebody to Love

Summary: Draco's life after the war is quite different than it used to be. When he finds himself cursed, with little hope for lifting the spell, he sets out to make the most of the time he has left. Getting to know his Aunt Andromeda and his young cousin Teddy feels like a good thing to do, even if it can't help him in the long run...or can it?

This fic, oh god, so wonderful! The thing is, well, as the summary says, Draco's been cursed, the nature of the curse it was to prove that no one could ever love Draco, and he would die – waste away – in a determined amount of time unless someone fell in love with him.

And you know, at first he tries to find someone who would love him, in his own way, he did try, but soon enough he gives up and tries to make the best of the time he has. He wants to reconnect with his family, and this means Andromeda and Teddy, and of course, Harry is always there. And oh my god, you can tell where this is going yeah?

Yep. I'm not going to say anything else. Wait, actually I am going to say more, because Draco meeting Teddy and spending time with him and Andromeda and Harry and the people who matter to them because he cares about them is just so sweet and wonderful. :) But yeah, that's all I'm going to say.

Trust me, this fic will leave you with a big smile on your face. :D

Title: Harry, Rearranged

Summary: It all started when Charlie casually mentioned he was taking Draco out on a date. Harry wasn't jealous, not in the least, just concerned. For Charlie, that is, definitely not for Draco.

Such a funny fic. As the summary says, Harry learns that Charlie is going out on a date with Draco, and for ~reason~ Harry has a lot of problems with this (shocking, I know! :D). The thing is, he decides to take matters into his own hands, and by this, obviously he means ~stalking Draco.

But eventually he has to face the reason why he's so unsettled with the whole idea of Draco dating Charlie -- if that's what really happening. He'll get to the bottom of it. So very cute.

Title: Brevem Conspectum

Time!Travel fic, and it's awesome.

The story starts with Harry and Draco working on an ancient house, Draco, brilliant curse-breaking, can't undo an enchantment on a door, but it seems benigne, so Harry stepts through the door and next thing he knows, he wakes up in a different time, with a very naked Draco next to him, and a whole life which he knows nothing of.

It's sweet, because the more Harry sees of this life, the more he wants. Sweet and sexy.

This fic is bottom!Draco on screen, but it's heavily hinted of bottom!Harry, and off-screen mpreg!Harry. :)

Title: A Most Unexpected Object

This is a charming story. It starts as Draco, who is deputy head of Magical Maintenance at the Ministry, is testing a new spell with his team so all the bins at the ministry self-empty with a single spell, but something went off with one in Level Five, and when he goes to investigate, well, it turns it's Harry Potter's bin.

And while Draco figures out what was blocking the bin (a most unexpected object, too!), this is how they started talking, meeting almost every day. It's lovely, and will leave you with a smile on your face.

Title: The Snitch-Maker

Summary: Draco is content with his Snitches, with the tap tap tap of his hammer, and the tiny gears and sharp scent of metal in his workshop - until one day Harry Potter appears, asking for help to solve a rash of Snitch-tampering in the Quidditch world.

This is such a lovely story. It's almost peaceful, the way it's written. Such a lovely pace.

You see, there's Draco who is a Snitch maker, and he lives a quiet, peaceful, simple life. Valuable, of course, but a quiet life; he makes his Snitches, he loves his work, he takes pride on it. And then there's Harry, no longer an Auror, who works on a Ministry division to promote Quidditch asking for his help because apparently someone has been tampering Snitches.

He really doesn't suspect Draco, he really wants his help, but it's as Harry and Draco work together, investigate together, that something between them happens; change. It's written from Draco's POV, and it's beautiful, to see Harry through his eyes, to learn Draco's thoughts, feelings, see this thing between them happening. Yeah, its lovely. :)

Title: Of Hoof Picks, Centaurs, and Flight or here at AO3

Summary: Harry has promised that he will not do anything to upset the new head of Magical Creatures. Even if it is Draco Malfoy. When three centaur foals appear in Cumbria, far from the Forbidden Forest and all too close to Muggles, Harry’s promise is thoroughly tested. To say nothing of his equestrian skills.

This is such an entertaining story. It all started when one ministry official from the Magical Creatures department attacked a student and Aurors were called. Now both heads of Departments, Harry and Draco, have to figure out what happened, which they do, in fact, but then they have yet another issue on their hands that they decide to treat in person. And it's not as dirty as you're thinking, turns out a small group of centaurs were sighted in a Muggle area. And it's while dealing with that that they fun things happen. And by fun I mean awesome fun. :D

Also, Harry sort of cockblocks Draco while he tries to get some with someone else, but that's for you to enjoy while reading this fic.

Title: Draco Malfoy and the Seven Weasleys

This fic is just so, so awesome~! :D

So, Draco has this crazy uncle who is trying to kill him for his inheritance, he goes and hires someone, who in turn warns Draco of the imminent danger he's in, and actually helps him hide. This is where the Weasleys come in, they take Draco because, of all things, Draco can cook and Mrs Weasley is away. I know it sounds crazy, and it is, but it's so, so awesome (I just said!) and there are so many little details that will remind of you of Snow White that you're going to love it. Well, I did, and I hope you do, too. :D

Title: The Fall of the Veils

Then there's conspiracy and intrigue and working together and Legilimency and murder and adventure and suspicion and magical things, and all of this makes Harry feel mad. So this fic is about Harry feeling all the feelings, and then everyone else feels feelings too. Even Draco. Remix of Ellhorn by kedavranox.


This story is just so, so good.

The fall of the Veils, is basically about that, the magical Veils that protect the Wizarding world from Muggles fall. Muggles all of the sudden can see Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, the Ministry of Magic. There's chaos and death, and for all the advantages magic gives them, they are outnumbered and unprepared against Muggles and their organisation and weapons.

This happens just a few months after Voldemort falls and so the magical world see itself in another war against the very people they were trying to protect. The story starts after the war with the Nonmagicals has been fought and peace has been achieved, however there are still crimes against wizards being committed, and it's one of these that Harry and Draco are going to investigate together, but in between it tells how it all began, and it also tells about a new power Harry has when a Dementor half-kisses and left him with empathic power—being able to feel, perceive what others feel, but it goes both ways as other are also able to pick up what Harry is feelings if Harry let his defences down.

The story, the writing, is amazing, and the characterisations are gorgeous. The way Draco is written, so restrained and composed, but inside full of passion, is beautiful. And the way Harry loves him, so fiercely, so completely is even more so. The way through all this, to see this love of Harry for Draco grow from respect and admiration, and then see Draco's feelings for Harry, back from Hogwarts all through the two wars they faced, it's just brilliant, absolutely brilliant. If you give this amazing story a chance, you're not going to regret it, and you won't be able to put it down until you get to the end, and then you'll want to read it again. :D
