I reckon everyone has read these two fics. With reason, too. The story they tell is absolutely beautiful. A story about 'what if'. It's almost too sad to know this didn't happen, and it breaks my heart a little bit every time, but it's worth it.

Just as the final battle is ending, Draco is attacked, and the only way to save him is with a spell that will enable Draco to travel through time. And so Draco goes to the past, and through this story he sees him himself, his younger self and Harry back at Hogwarts with him as a teacher.

It's very dramatic and just the right way of confusing, until everything falls into place.

This fic is delightful. Harry owns a party props store for kids, and once a week he has a show for the children, until one day Luna (Luna is so awesome here!) who works with Harry suggests they get a clown to have an act for the shop show as well. Harry is reluctant at first, but he ends up agree (he can't help it, it's Luna!) and so they get a clown: Pockets.

And yep, you guess it, it's Draco, only Harry doesn't learn who Pockets is until much later on the fic, when he's halfway smitten with the clown.

And I know what you're thinking, and you're right, it's not a scenario you would ever imagined, but do give this fic a chance. It's lovely. Draco is priceless as a clown, because he's sweet and funny, and he's there for Harry, constantly. This fic is going to make you smile, and not just because of the funny.

He Was He and I Was Bunny by bryoneybrynn

This is one of my favourites 8th year fics.

After the war, Harry is looking for a way to escape, but just to turn the world out, but rather, I think, to feel more like himself, and decided to become an Animagus. The title is going to tell you what is Animagi form is. But once he's able to transform, he meets Draco, and Draco takes a shine to this black bunny, and soon he starts talking to him, the bunny, confiding him, and Harry… well, he sees a part of Draco that never knew, and he loves it, he falls in love with this Draco that he's spending time with.

Inevitably, Draco finds out Harry is the bunny he's been pouring his heart to and feels betrayed. But that's making the story short, because the development of the characters, Harry's feelings, Draco's feelings, all it's just enchanting. And god, the way Harry seeks forgiveness, baring himself to Draco is incredibly touching.

Hearts Open (at the Close) by literaryspell

This fic has an incredibly powerful Harry who has little control over his magic, and slightly (maybe not slightly) mentally unstable, and Draco is trying to help him as his Healer, but soon he finds swept by Harry's delusions and they escalate beyond his power.

And it's so interesting, because at first he fights Harry, at least he tries to, but this proves to be impossible, up to the point that he starts losing himself a bit as well.

I love the plot of this story, I love how the author writes Harry, in spite of everything he does, you can't find it in you to hate him or resent him. I don't mean that Harry is dark or evil, he's not, it's that he's not quite sane, and it's fascinating in a slightly twisted way, you know? This is the sort of fic that leaves you speechless, in a good way.

Draco has invented a revolutionary charm so Aurors can communicate more easily, however, it's a little faulty, for when Harry tests it, he starts getting personal messages from Draco.

It's hot and entertaining. The charm works a bit like instant message, and boy, Harry and Draco really get that hang of it, and of course, they want to know what's wrong with it. ^^
