Title: Flutterflies

This is such a wonderful, wonderful story! :D It's an AU, in which Draco befriends the Golden Trio in first year: back when Quirrel set the troll lose he goes to warn Hermione of it but instead he ends up trapped with her in the bathroom. Then the whole, "There are some things you can’t share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a twelve-foot mountain troll is one of them" includes him. :)

And so we see them being friendly, a bit of how they are together, their interactions but most of all we see them in 8th Year, Post War, with Draco having all these feelings for Harry, and god, their friendship, along with Ron and Hermione's is truly brilliant. Seeing him insecure about coming out, more so about ever confessing his feelings for Harry. Trust me, this story will leave you with a big smile on your face. :D

Title: The Haumiaroa Magical Society for the Conservation of Indigenous Wildlife

This is a cute story of Harry, who travelled to New Zealand wanting to get away from the Wizarding world, and so it happens he runs (crashes, really) into a little kiwi chick in danger. Of course he saves it and even brings him with him to his hotel.

Later we learn (not Harry!) that this kiwi chick is really Draco, and refusing to be left behind when Harry decides to change destinations follows him.

But you see, at first Draco didn't quite remember how to turn back, being around Harry helps, helps to the point he's finally able to change back to his human form. They have words. :D

Title: Beyond the Mirror's Edge

Summary: Harry Potter is dead! A spell goes wrong in Advanced Charms class, leaving nothing but a charred ring and a pair of empty shoes. Draco Malfoy must figure out what happened and try to bring Harry back.

I know what the summary says, but trust me, this fic is so awesome!

Indeed, the only thing remaining of Harry Potter are a tatty pair of trainers. But, since there's no Major Character Death warning, I feel okay with telling you; Harry's not dead. :D He is gone though. And no one seems to know where.

God, Draco's reaction when he realises Harry's gone is so, so perfect. But that's not all—well.

If you want, you can skip this next part and just go and read the story, you won't regret it, but if you want to know more. . .

But soon after Harry vanished Draco started hearing things, hearing someone. At first, just a voice, asking if someone could hear them. Later on he realises the person he's been hearing is Harry, and he's the only one who can hear him. And even more so, they soon realise Draco – people, can see Harry in the mirror, see his reflection on a mirror.


It still very hard for both of them. Draco has his own problems; people mistrusts him, and well, Harry still feels isolated, without a body, barely a presence. But the way their relationship develops is lovely. Great story.

Title: Catfished

Summary: Draco is in deep water, Harry can see straight through him, and that's not even the full scale of the problem.

This is such a wonderful, lovely story. It really feels shorter than all 33K!

You see, Draco is in the wrong place in the wrong time; the middle of a gone-wrong Auror raid in a fish shop, and somehow he got turned into a fish. And I have to show you what sort of fish he turns into because he's adorable. Here: Ghost catfish. Mind you, that's not Draco the fish, just the kind of fish he turns into. ^^

Anyway, Harry is appointed fish carer for however long Draco remains as such, and while at first is very frustrating (Draco as a fish has a lot of attitude!), with time they start understanding each other. They even communicate, which involves Scrabble tiles and from then on, well, you'll fall in love with them. It all turns awkward again when Draco is back to human, but you see, they had something good, something special, so Harry is not going to let that go. And then it's even sweeter. You'll love this fic. :)

Title: In Trance

Summary: Harry turns into a cat and is looked after by Draco Malfoy. After a soul journey and much insanity, Harry finds himself completely smitten with the git.


Harry's life has been a bit chaotic after the war, but he still believes Draco is up to something, when he finds out Draco has been taking a potion to help him to study better, to calm him, that is, so he can focus, Harry demands Draco gives him so, which he does, which helps Harry to calm, only he helps him to find his animagus form. A kitten. A Bengal kitten, and he's the cutest thing, because he's both aware and not aware of it. He's not quite aware at first, and he grows attached to Draco, but later on, well! Later on he starts getting to see a new side of Harry and he ends up being a smitten Kitten.

Super cute, and fun, but it's very touching, too, when Harry comes back to himself, his confusion about his feelings for Draco, everything they went through while he was Draco's kitten and missing what they had as a human, and of course, those feelings he couldn't quite voice as a cat. A lovely story.

Harry has no idea; he’s too busy trying not to be in love with Malfoy to care.

There's so much to be said about this story. Part of me want to say Read It! What are you waiting for! But another part of me wants to gush endlessly about it, so I'll try for middle ground. ^^

This story as I see it, is about finding yourself; it's about Harry finding himself, knowing himself and accepting himself. It's about changes and accepting those changes, too. And these changes for Harry begin with a Boggart and the Mirror or Erised, both showing him the same thing: himself.

That is the catalyst for Harry, (and it feels so right to use such a term for this fic!) because this makes Harry to look into himself, to make his life take an unexpected turn and discover his joy, his passion, now that there are no Dark Lords or Prophesises looming in his future, it is now when he decided to challenge himself for himself, and embrace the unexpected. He decides to become a Potions Master, and it's crazy and brilliant.

There's so much self-discovery for Harry. And Draco, Draco becomes part of everything for Harry, his biggest joy and challenge, and at times even his biggest regret.

There's such a transformation from the boy who started on the story, who didn't know what to do with his life, to the man happy and fulfilled he was at the end. It's such a pleasure to read, such an amazing ride of growth. It's going to make you fall in love with Harry all over, and Draco, and Snape, and the creation of Potions and what it means for them.

This story is unexpected. I know you're probably expecting something great from what you've heard, but it's going to surprise you anyway. And if you're thinking, 'wow, nearly 90K, that's long!' This fic is so entertaining, so much fun and engaging you're going to read and read and read and before you know it's about to be over, with your heart all over the pages wondering where all the time went.

Title: The Toad King

This is a sweet, endearing, funny story. It starts with Draco skulking—sulking (!), I mean—about the manor grounds and finding a cursed, talking toad. One that annoys the hell out of him, but ultimately becomes rather fond of. It's based on the fairytale The Frog Prince, I bet you could tell that already. ^^

It's super entertaining, with tons of funny, sweet moments. Draco's characterisation is fantastic, snarky and sarcastic, but with a big heart underneath, and you're going to love Potter the toad. I mean Peter! Yeahhh, Peter, the frog.

It's hilarious and absolutely adorable.

Title: Snakes and Ladders

I thought I had recced this story before, because it's one of my favourites Epilogue Compliant fics, but I had it confused with a different one.

Draco is going to play spy for the Ministry inside a Pure Blood elitist group, and Harry is going to be his familiar in his animagus form (and you're going to love what he turns into!), so he comes to stay with Draco at Malfoy Manor.

The sexual tension is so very lovely here, and so hot. You see, Harry has been denying—repressing, his sexuality for years, but being so close to Draco, wanting him so badly, he simply can't do it any longer.

I love Harry and Draco's characterisations. They are both so mature, and composed, but their feelings are so intense at the same time. I'm telling you, the UST is delicious, and the plot is amazing as well.

Title: Draco Malfoy and the Accidental Armchair

I think this is the first time I read a character death story and it leaves me with a huge smile on my face and makes me feel everything is right in the world, leave me with such a sense of peace.

I'm always wary of reading these "Voldemort Wins" scenarios, but this story is so beautiful, it's probably like nothing you're expecting. It's filled with such a sense of hope rather than despair all through it you will feel it in your heart.

You can't quite know it from the warnings and the summary, but this story is not about death, it's about hope and life and the future, it's a story about love that goes beyond mortality.

The summary gives you a very good idea of what the plot of the fic is about, but the writing that brings it to life has so much feeling, beautiful in its intensity and so sexy and lovely that you'll meet two people who bring the best in each other, the best of their humanity. Let this story surprise you, people. It's gorgeous.

Title: The Kneazle Who Came for Christmas

It's cute, and funny, and sweet, and so damn precious, Draco playing Harry's Kneazle.

This is such a fluffy, cute fic. Harry is a tiger Animagus, but he has troubles changing back, so each time he transforms, he has to spend some time with the only other tiger Animagus in Britain: Draco.

And it's so sweet, because Draco is absolutely enamoured with Harry the tiger, and in love with Harry the man. But Harry, apparently, doesn't ever remember his stay with him after he transforms back to human. Or does he?

This fic is so charming. I'm not really a cat person (dogs do it for me, actually, hey, don't look at me like that, I mean puppies), but Harry as a kitten is one of the cutest things I've ever read.

For reasons unknown (until the end) an old lady enchants Harry to spontaneously transform into a kitten (not permanently) in order to fight against another enchantment, it's a compulsion, actually, he has for not leaving Grimmauld Place, and of course, that famous temper of his.

Harry's kitty self has chosen Draco as his a protector of some sort, and Harry discovers that he's not adverse to the idea of being cuddled by Draco either!

Title: Doggie Style

This is a cute story. Just as the summary says, Harry only wanted some peace and quiet, but there's this penguin that has come to disturb him.

I love Harry's POV as much as I love Draco the Penguin's.
