I think this is the first time I read a character death story and it leaves me with a huge smile on my face and makes me feel everything is right in the world, leave me with such a sense of peace.

I'm always wary of reading these "Voldemort Wins" scenarios, but this story is so beautiful, it's probably like nothing you're expecting. It's filled with such a sense of hope rather than despair all through it you will feel it in your heart.

You can't quite know it from the warnings and the summary, but this story is not about death, it's about hope and life and the future, it's a story about love that goes beyond mortality.

The summary gives you a very good idea of what the plot of the fic is about, but the writing that brings it to life has so much feeling, beautiful in its intensity and so sexy and lovely that you'll meet two people who bring the best in each other, the best of their humanity. Let this story surprise you, people. It's gorgeous.

You should read it. I ran into the story before, and I had it on the back of my mind constantly, then I put it on my 'to read the soonest' file and finally did. It awed me.

This story is like an orgasm, and the ending is that sweet, blissful release. I don't know how to better explain it. It's gorgeous.

I find it so hard to respond to such a wonderful rec. You make me blush and happy and giddy with joy. "We Are Legend" was one of my first H/D fanfics, and I definitely put my heart into it. There is nothing more beautiful than to hear that five years after this story came to me, there are still readers like you who are touched by it. Thank you so much. ♥

I didn't know when I started it was going to become one of my all time favourites. I was a little bit afraid, but as I read it, nothing to be afraid, everything to enjoy, so much to feel! Five years, wow... this story was stunning, you're right to be proud and be happy people remember it. I know I will. :)
