Title: A Safe Bet
Author:
goseaward
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 27,000 Approx.
Summary: Really, they were only interested in the person who'd been enchanting teapots. No need for all these curse-jumping pregnancy-causing shenanigans. Or, Law & Order: Ministry of Magic.
Warning(s): Mpreg
Harry and Draco are Auror partners, they also have a relationship of, erm, sexual nature, on and off, but when a stray curse hits Harry, well, the consequences are more than unexpected. And now Harry is pregnant and has to find a way to tell Draco.
But what I love is, the way Draco reacts. He doesn't freak out or gets upset. He's happy, because now they can be together, properly. All those family obligations Draco felt he had about continuing the Malfoy lineage are gone and he's thrilled, which takes a bit for Harry to understand, surprisingly enough.
I love how natural everything was between them, the little domestic moments, Draco worrying for Harry. Very sweet.
