I had a lump in my throat all the time while reading this story. I think I might have been swallowing back tears.

Harry and Draco are attending the same AA meeting, and it's incredibly touching.

It's written from Harry's POV, and it explores a side of Harry's character that I find very emotional: the way he was raised—kept, rather, by the Dursleys. This isn't the only issue Harry deals with, nor is the solely reason for the drinking problem he's facing, but it's a big part. I loved how the author handled it.

I loved Harry here, brave in his own way but so very vulnerable, and I loved Draco, he's both snarky yet gentle, hesitating and confident. They are both lovely written.

Title: Here's The Pencil, Make It Work

This is a gorgeous story. It's about self-discovery and self-acceptance.

Harry being adrift after the war and encountering Draco, living and working in the Muggle world, being drawn to him and along the way finding out things about himself he had buried deep inside him.

It's about changes, too, not just changes of perspective of how Draco saw the world, but Harry changes, too. He allows himself to be open, and he grows, they both do. And it's brilliant.

Title: Unhook the Stars

This is a very powerful story because the characterisation of Draco and Harry are powerful like that.

Draco, he's immature, a bit of a bastard, a bit of a mess, but all this have its root because of everything he went through during the war. The story makes you understand where he's coming from. And he needs something, it's clear that sometimes even himself doesn't know what it is, until he has it.

He's working as a Dom for rent, a prostitute, and one night Harry Owls him and hires him.

Their relationship is very bumpy, but so very intense. Beautiful and crazy at the same time. And the sex! The sex is beyond hot, some of the hottest I've ever read. God.

One of the many things I loved about this story is that the characters remained faithful to their characterisation, they don't change to fit the plot, but the plot develops naturally as they grow, you know? I don't know if that makes sense. I hope it does.

This fic was an instant favourite.

Also, this story is mainly bottom!Harry. There's a scene of switching, but mostly is top!Draco. But I honestly tell you, if you're not into Bottom!Harry, this fic is going to show you just how very well he can take it. :D And it has some beautiful, sexy art accompanying the story.

Title: Only Another Beginning

This fic is so dramatic and angsty.

Harry finds Draco working on the streets in the Muggle world, as a prostitute. He can't stop thinking about him, and decides to help him, but it's more to it than that, Draco's problems ran deeper than Harry thought. He's a drug addict. And this is his slow and painful journey to recovery.

Harry is in an abusing relationship with Terry Boot, and Draco is the only person who, slowly, is starting to see the extend of the damage Terry has inflicted on Harry.

I like how protective Draco is of Harry, and I like how Harry slowly comes back into his own self. Very touching.

This is such an incredible story. The Malfoys have left Britain, but after Narcissa's death they come back. However with his return Draco discovers he's no longer the master of his hand, and to regain it, he needs Harry Potter's help, only Harry is no shape to help anyone.

I love the characterisations of both Harry and Draco, and how nothing is easy between them. It's not a simple story of mastering a wand, on the way they discover a lot about of each other and themselves.

It's a very emotional journey, with this Harry who is so messed up and Draco who doesn't know how to help him, doesn't even know how to show he cares. It's beautiful though, to see them come together, to accept the help that is offered, in different ways. I love it.

Title: War Wounds

This is a very dramatic story, because it deals with aftermath of the war, with the issues and even traumas Harry and Draco have as survivors.

It's not Deathly Hallows complaint, Draco was a spy for the Order, and, as such, he was never accepted by the very side he was fighting for. This is how he copes, with his lonely life, with his demons. And the incredible different it makes when he learns there is someone out there who honestly care for him, someone with whom he has so many things in common. And of course, with it comes for Harry the time to face his own demons.

Gorgeous, truly. I personally love it, even though I know these issues aren't solved as easily.

Title: Duration of Emptiness

This is a very dramatic story, not just about what Harry and Draco go through after Draco loses his wife and Harry's divorce, but also about what the children, all of them, go through during this time.

Draco in deep depression and Harry not quite knowing what to do, to help Draco and to figure out his own life. With Ginny who has been a total bitch about the whole thing.

I love Albus and Scorpius on this story. It's really them who bring their parents together, not exactly playing to matchmaking, not at all, but rather thinking that they could find solace in each other. I love Harry's relationship with them, too.

Narrated from an unknown Muggle-born rentboy's POV. This is a story that will stay with you long after you've read it.

It's very powerful and intense. There is a warning for a Major Character Death, but being written as a narration of the happenings, it gives you the distance you need to read it without the pain of the death being too overwhelming.

It's not a happy story, but there's no denying it has some pretty amazing parts, sexy even, and powerful. I can almost hear those bells rining.

Title: Perfect Day

This is essentially a Perfect Day in the very imperfect life of Draco Malfoy. What makes this story so fantastic are all the things Draco faces whilst having drunk Felix Felicis, including meeting Harry by chance.

But of course, not everything can be fixed by drinking a lucky potion, and sadly, Draco learns this as well. It's touching as it is funny.

Love the unexpected twists (that in plurals!) on this story. And the nature of their guilty desire.

This story feels longer than it actually is, still, it makes me wish there was more of it and at the same time it ends in a perfect way.
