Title: Princes In Exile
Author:
literaryspell &
keppiehed
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 105,000 Aprox.
Summary: After the war, Harry Potter is left with no one to save, no one to fight, and one extra wand. Draco Malfoy escapes punishment by leaving the country... or so he thinks. Seven years pass before they see each other again. Draco is no longer the master of his wand and a battle of talent and wills ensues. A story of a wand without a true master, and two men who fight to master each other... and themselves.
This is such an incredible story. The Malfoys have left Britain, but after Narcissa's death they come back. However with his return Draco discovers he's no longer the master of his hand, and to regain it, he needs Harry Potter's help, only Harry is no shape to help anyone.
I love the characterisations of both Harry and Draco, and how nothing is easy between them. It's not a simple story of mastering a wand, on the way they discover a lot about of each other and themselves.
It's a very emotional journey, with this Harry who is so messed up and Draco who doesn't know how to help him, doesn't even know how to show he cares. It's beautiful though, to see them come together, to accept the help that is offered, in different ways. I love it.
