I love AUs, this a really great (and angsty!) Hogwarts Era Au, in which Harry and Draco got together in 6th year, until Draco decides to become a spy for the Order so he can protect Harry, only he does it without telling Harry because he knows Harry would stop him, and the only way Harry would leave him is hurt him badly. It happens though, and then when Harry is taken prisoner at Malfoy Manor is up to Draco to save him.

It's hurts, everything Draco goes through while he's trying to protect Harry, knowing Harry thinks the worst of him, it's painful, but it's got a great ending. Lovely story, full of pain, but there's hope, too.

Ohhhh this one sounds really good. Is it bottom!Harry or bottom!Draco? I know it shouldn't matter, but I'm not in the least a fan of bottom!Draco which are now 95% of the fics in the Drarry fandom (it's so depressing to me lol). So I just want to prepare myself if I need to skip a scene.

Oh, look at that, I totally forgot to add the bottom!tag. Thank you for reminding me. :) Sometimes there isn't penetrative sex on screen, but on this fic, there is a bit.

This fic is bottom!Harry, but I warn you, the moment of the intercourse is not a loving one, it happens under pressure, hence the dub-con warning.

I hope you give a try anyway, because it's really good.

Also, if you're a fan of top!Draco you should totally check dracotops_harry the annual fest just started and there are some amazing fics. But really, all year round is bottom!harry over there.

Thanks! I'm a member there, and I'm happy it's still active. There use to be a couple more communities like that, that had all bottom!Harry fics, open to all pairings. (I do enjoy Harry/Ron and some other rarer pairings). It hasn't been updated in a while it seems. I was in the HP fandom when it was only a year in, and all the fics were bottom!Harry. You never really had to think about it. I'm not sure when that completely switched around but I'm not happy about it haha. I miss the long chapter fics. There are some, but not a whole lot of what I'm looking for. I will definitely keep an eye out for your recs though. :)

Really? I didn't know there were more comms bottom!Harry. I know of a couple of bottom!Draco though, so logic says there must be for Harry also. :) I really don't have a preference, personally, but I totally get that people do, so adding that tag was easy and now it's super popular. :D I'm glad you think so. <3
