Title: Shame Keeps Its Watch
Author:
raitala
Rating: R
Word Count: 10,700 Approx.
Summary: The post-war world is not an easy place to navigate when you are Draco Malfoy and none of the certainties you grew up with are valid any more. Basically, you are a bit of a mess. But at least you're hot - that has to be worth something, right? Remix of IDK My BFF Hermione? by
lettered.
This is sort of Draco's version of
lettered's amazing IDK My BFF Hermione?.
From how he came to be in the place he was when that story began, how hopeless and helpless he felt during the war, to the moment he said, 'fuck it, I'm done pretending' and his first time with Harry in that dirty Alley.
It's probably not going to make much sense unless you've read Lettered's version, which you should, because it's brilliant. But if you haven't read it, it's going to make you want to. It's a wonderful exploration of Draco's POV.
