Title: Tuesday Nights
Author:
firethesound
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 15,000 Approx.
Summary: The absolute last place Harry expected to see Malfoy was in a rundown Muggle cinema on a Tuesday night.
This story, this story is so gorgeous. God.
It starts with Ginny breaking up with Harry, so Harry is going through a rough time, but one day after Hermione pushes him out of bed (the couch, actually) he randomly goes to the movies, and, to his surprise Draco is there by himself as well. Naturally he follows him afterwards, and gets a glimpse of what Draco's life is like. He returns to the movie the next Tuesday hoping Draco will show up again, and he does.
And like this they start this routine of meeting every Tuesday Night until the inevitable happen. Yep, I'm not saying any more about that, because, God, you have to see it for yourself how lovely it is.
It's so beautifully written, your heart is going to go for Draco and how hard his life is, and you're going to fall in love with him, just like Harry. It's wonderful. If you haven't read it, don't wait any longer!
This story has a short sequel called and sequel Saturday Afternoons (1k, G). It's the perfect follow up.

But you know how I feel when you say things like that *smooches you* You're too hard on yourself. Your writing is lovely and brilliant in your own way!

Date: 2014-02-05 12:15 pm (UTC)I promise I'm not saying that to get sympathy, it's just that if I'm writing something and then I read something with about the same subject, I will question my writing. Which is not a bad thing in itself, it's just that sometimes, it can prevent me from writing because I think, well why bother? Someone's already done that so much better than me so...
But when you say that: Your writing is lovely and brilliant in your own way! it's true (lol, I'm not talking about the part about my writing being lovely and brilliant!!!) I mean the "in your own way" part because that's the important thing. Every one of us has to try finding their own voice and be at peace with their own strengths and weaknesses. And I'm still fragile on this front even if I'm learning! :)
Anyway, sorry, this was totally off-topic!
