Summary: A chance encounter in Diagon Alley with the Golden Boy piques Draco’s curiosity and encourages him to truly get to know Harry Potter. With a little Slytherin “help” from Pansy, Draco dares to reach out to Harry with results that surprise both men.


By chance Draco meets Harry, who at the moment seems unstable and a little violent, pressured by Pansy, Draco intervenes and Apparates away with Harry, but as he talks to Harry he realises there is something wrong with him. It's not just the moment Harry broke down in public place, there's sadness in his eyes, and Draco feels immediately drawn to him, wanting to help this man who once was such a vibrant presence, and help him.

It's lovely how their friendship blooms, and little by little there's a light in Harry's eyes every time they meet again.

It's lovely, sweet and very gentle.
