Title: Seven Days in June
Author:
fourth_rose
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 46,900 Approx.
Summary: The war is over, the survivors are moving on. The hero is finally allowed to go on leave – and meets an old enemy, who is working in a Muggle profession in a city without magic.
This is a beautiful story, about Harry going on a holiday to Vienna, a city without magic, and by pure chance meeting Draco Malfoy, who is working as a Muggle tour guide.
I think what I loved so much about it, it's the pace of it. It's a very sedated story. The kind of fic you sit back and enjoy; the descriptions of the city, the interactions between Harry and Draco, the thoughts running through Harry's mind, the way these thoughts change as he gets to know Draco, this new person he became and comes to respect him.
It's lovely. The ending is perfect, and it will leave you wanting more, and there is! At the author's journal there are some extras and sequels of sorts, just as lovely as the fic. Seven Days in June, DVD extras.
