Title: The Secret of the Whole
Author:
lauren3210
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 18,500 Approx.
Summary: Snapshots in time as Harry and Draco grow up in a world without Voldemort, moving from enemies to lovers. A companion piece to Life is a Twice Written Scroll, for those that liked the last timeline in that story and wanted to see more of it.
Warning(s): Magical AU.
This fic, this is an amazing companionship to Life is a Twice Written Scroll. Which I recced here.
In that fic, (a remix of The Butterfly Effect) Draco goes back in time, never quite managing the happy, bright future he's been longing for, and after many attempts, he finally does.
In this fic, we see that past, how it comes to happen, how Harry and Draco get together, how their lives were different in a world without Voldemort, how their rivalry -- because it's still there, and it's amazing fun to read -- turns to obsession (oh yes), then to curiosity (yes, that kind!), to experimentation (you know what I mean ;)) and finally to this beautiful relationship they have.
I suggest you read first Life is a Twice Written Scroll, and then this, they are both so lovely.
