Summary: After the final battle nothing is quite as Harry expected. Death Eaters remain unaccounted for, Malfoy is in prison and there is something rotten in Azkaban. Banned from assisting the Aurors, Harry keeps himself busy with regular visits to Malfoy and works to bring light to the darkness of no. 12 Grimmauld Place. As he does all he can to make things better, Harry's mind fills with strange dreams and an adversary sets in motion a plan intended to tear Harry's world apart.
Warning(s): Angst, character death (not Harry or Draco), incarceration, heavily implied torture and non-con (off screen, not between Harry and Draco), time travel, AU after the Battle for Hogwarts.
Oh, the angst, the bittersweetness of it, so lovely. You have to be brave and read this story, because of everything Draco goes through while he's in Azkaban, because even though the descriptions of the abuse he bears aren't graphic (actually, all suggested and off-screen) but the way it affects Draco afterwards is hear-aching.
And everything Harry suffers when someone sends him a curse and he travels through time into the future and then back, not quite finding his place in either time.
But it's such an emotional story, the kind that hurts, but hurts so good, you know? It's an amazing story.
