Harry has to find the perfect gift for Draco, who, for all appearances hates Christmas, but (and here's the huge Awww factor) as Harry "observes" Draco (stalk!) he realises Draco doesn't hate Christmas, he's just lonely. And so Harry is decided to solve it.
And Ron is deliriously wise on this fic.

“So a date.”
“No. Not a date. You and me get drinks and dinner all the time, and it’s not a date,” Harry hoped that it was the room that was getting excruciatingly warm and not his neck.
“So just drinks and dinner. A bit of manly bonding in the spirit of the holiday season?”
“Yes.”
“Anything else?” Ron wheedled.
“We hung out on Saturday night,” Harry muttered.
“Date night,” Ron nodded, feigning wisdom.
