This story is a classic. It was popular nearly ten years ago when it was first written, and people are still reading it and loving it now. And with reason.

This is a very beautiful story. After a Quidditch accident Draco loses his sight, when he comes back to school he stops relating to people and Harry feels guilty, well, you know Harry, and so he seeks Draco. A true friendship is born, and from there, they discover so much about themselves.

It's a very gentle story, the pace and the progression is slow and very sweet.

Title: One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This

Blaise is one sneaky individual on this one. Well, Draco is under this spell, he'll become invisible unless Harry Potter thinks about him, so he starts sending Harry innocuous letters to remember him by.

Well, Harry has to get to the bottom of this, yeah? With Blaise help they'll find the solution.

This fic is fun. And at the end you'll say, "I knew it!" and yeah. So much fun.

Very interesting plot-wise, and there's a lot of Draco snarking on this, too, until they come together, and finally everything makes sense to Harry.

Title: A Fruit Tree in Winter

I loved this fic because it felt so REAL. After failing to kill Dumbledore, Draco is sent alone to a cabin, his loneliness is so painful, with Snape as is only and very rare visitor, until Harry Potter appears, injured, also sent by Snape. And from them on it's wow.

The hostility between them, then the progression in their interactions, the mounting tension until it spills. It's really quite incredible, with a hopeful ending.

This fic has gorgeous art accompanying the story.

Title: Lucky Break

Harry keeps breaking Draco, erm, his bones, that is, but it's always an accident. In the meantime rumours are flying left and right about one being gay, and then the other being gay and virgin, and about one liking the other, and the other also wanting into the one's pants. You know, typically Hogwarts.

And there's a Halloween dance, too, and they dress accordingly. ^^

Also, a bit of an AU, but only because Snape Lives.

Title: The Altar

This is a very powerful piece about lost. Draco does a lot of growing up in this story, and learns to see Harry as more than a powerful wizard. And there's the interesting twist of Draco being obsessed with Harry as Harry has been obsessed with him in the past.

Title: The Other Side of Free

This is a very cute story with a blind Draco living in Italy who doesn't know he's treating a Quidditch injured Harry.

It sort of reminds me of this movie "At First Sight". Also, it's a tiny bit AU because Snape lives.

Very lovely.

Title: Let's Pretend the War Is Over

This is one of those fics that, with much respect for the author, the summary doesn't make justice.

This fic is glorious in its insanity.

We are to dive into Draco's mind as he slowly and surely loses his sanity, with a Harry who Draco believes to be a hallucination, takes gentle care of him.

This story is beautiful. And you're going to fall in love with both Harry & Draco, and the author.

Title: A Secret History

This story deals with very delicate subjects, and it does so wonderfully because it's such an emotional journey, and even though it's not an easy read, at the end it leaves you with a sense of hope.

It truly is a story of discovery, in the literal sense. Harry's magic and his memories are shaky at best, due to what it seems it's war trauma, but soon enough he discovered there's much more to it than that.

I fell in love with this story for many reasons. It's very dramatic, but it's not over done, it's just right, and you can see and feel Harry struggling with this, that he doesn't even know what it is, and he's scared, but he's strong too. Draco is his support. They are in a established relationship on this story, and even though it's not labelled as such, the way they care for each other is tangible all through the fic.

I love this vulnerable Harry, he's not broken, just very vulnerable, and Draco is someone Harry can rely on. Hermione is amazing here, too.

This story has warnings, and I know they can be a bit strong and people might want to pass this fic because of them, but give it a chance, this story is incredible.
