Sometimes I think I'm the last person to read a story. :D I had this on my to-read folder for ages and finally a darling anon reminded me of it and I went for it. What a treat!

Harry and Draco (and Ron) are all in Auror training, and both Harry and Ron are very suspicious about Draco being there at all. Eventually though they become less suspicious and more accepting. Specially after Draco starts helping George with potions at the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.

Draco is sort of having a hard time all around, but Harry himself is also having a hard time, particularly in his relationship with Ginny, which is on hold.

The slow developing of Harry and Draco's friendship is wonderful, also the way Harry realises where his preferences truly are, and how Draco accepts he might be trying to become an Auror for the wrong reasons, how they play such an important part in this, in each other's discoveries and acceptances is really lovely.

Title: A Madness Most Discreet

Summary: Being an Auror is not easy: the long hours, the stress, the paperwork... Add to that a loud and smug partner, whose favourite past time is to make fun of you by reading the most ridiculous excerpts from your fan mail out loud, and you have an idea of what Harry has to go through every day.
Except that Harry doesn't really mind. In fact, he almost hates himself for finding the whole thing rather endearing.

This fic, oh my god, it's such a wonderful story. This is a sequel to The Gentlewizard Club which I recced here, and I really suggest you read that one because it's amazing.

In The Gentlewizard Club we get to see Harry and Draco to be in a pretend relationship so Draco can get membership of this very posh club, but of course, at the end, being part of this snobbish club isn't really what is important, but what Harry and Draco gain, which is each other. SUPER SWEET.

In this fic, we get to see Harry and Draco's relationship growing. It's still new, so they are finding their footing together, growing together, learning to trust each other. There's also a case they are working, for someone is targeting Death Eaters, murdering them, and in a prejudiced Auror department, it's Harry and Draco's job to find the person behind the murders, along with dealing with the rest of the department prejudices along with Lucius expectations of his son.

Let me tell you, Draco's characterisation is fantastic. He's fun and witty and wonderful. Harry's absolutely smitten with him, and amidst all this, the seriousness of the case they are working, how well they work together and working on their relationship, it's pretty complex story, which is fun to follow every step of the way. :)

Title: 5 Times Harry Tried to Propose (and The Time He Gets it Right)

This story is completely delightful. Basically what the summary says; we see Harry try and fail at proposing over and over, but that's OK because as we read we learn how they got together and it's absolutely lovely. :)

Title: The Years Before Love

Summary: Harry didn’t ever dream he could have a family beyond the Weasleys. But then, at one point he didn’t dream he could have a family beyond the Dursleys, either. He tries not to think too much about those years, but in a way, they’ve made him what he was and given him what he has now.

This story is so sweet and gentle. It's about Harry being a bit adrift after the war and being sort of adopted by Andromeda, unofficially, moving in with her and Teddy and just finding his place in life, what he wants to be. Finding a family.

And of course, that family eventually includes Narcissa and Draco who visit often. Harry and Draco's interactions are so sweet, their friendship and relationship so lovely paced. This definitely a feel-good story. :)

This fic is a lot of fun. It starts when we learn that Hermione working on a portal, sends herself to the land of the dead, and Harry to bring her back, needs Draco's help since he's the expert on fixing ancient artefacts.

But what Draco wants in return is, well, his reputation, which basically means he wants to be seen with Harry, which leads to them having sex, though Harry isn't too bothered by that because Draco is rather brilliant at it. While Draco is working on the portal though, Harry discovered long-lost relatives, who happened to be very powerful in the Wizarding World, and who might not approve of his dalliances with Draco.

And then, once the portal is fixed, what happens with Harry and Draco's ~relationship~? Well, that's for you to find out! :D It's super entertaining.

God, god, this fic! This is a sequel of Unbuttoned (or here at AO3), also known as "hung!Harry fic", which I recced here, and it's every bit as perfect as the first part.

This is the continuation of their relationship. Harry and Draco have been sleeping for months, and Draco's previously very well-organised life is a bit chaotic, and to kind of quote Draco himself, he hates it because he loves it.

We see them bickering and being perfect together; lazy mornings in bed, mostly all the sex. There's hung!Harry FTW, and feelings being admitted. And it's sexy, playful and wonderful. If you haven't read the first part, do it, it's glorious and then read this one and I guarantee it'll leave you with the biggest smile on your face. :)

Title: Fine I'll hold my breath / til i forget it's complicated

But really, this story is lovely. It's a bit about Harry not knowing what to do with his life, about starting this thing with Draco and not knowing what he wants from it, and a bit about finding happiness. :)

This story is so beautiful, so achingly beautiful. I almost don't know what to say. It tells the story of how Harry and Draco started their relationship, but it's so much more than that, it's a beautiful look into their lives, too. You'll feel this story in your heart. Just, yeah, it's beautiful.

The thing is, Harry's been buying properties all over Knockturn Alley, which is precisely where Draco's Potions shop is. So many properties, in fact, that they are actually calling it Potter's Ally now, which Harry hates, though probably not as much as Draco.

Now Draco is certain Harry's going to make his life hell, he's going to find a clause and evict him and all things terrible will come to happen. So what he's going to do is, he's going to go on a Ski trip with Harry and his friends and ~charm~ the pants off Harry. Flawless plan, yes? Only he's really bad at trying to be nice to Harry in the first place. Also he can't ski to save his life and somehow Harry got roped into teaching him. And of course, a lot more than skiing happens.

Sounds good? Trust me, it is! :)

I so love a good Muggle AU, and this fic is amazing and man, it's smoking hot. I mean, Harry is absolutely delicious in every way. The sex is out of this world. I mean it, God.

But let me start at the beginning. ^^ Yes, as the summary says, Draco is in America and yes his car breaks down in a very lone road. But don't worry, someone comes to his aid: Neville Longbottom (who has a knife and kills a snake and is awesome all around), who eventually takes Draco to the local mechanic, who turns to be Harry. And yes, I said it before but, trust me, it bears repeating: he's the hottest thing every written. :D He's sweaty and rough around the edges and sexy and Draco is absolutely taken with him, and more exciting still, it's mutual. The sexual tension!!

Then we find out what Draco is doing in America and who is he looking for and we learn Harry is the person Draco ultimately needs to talk. The plot is excellent. And the sexual tension is even more so. I adore that the sex is good, but you can tell something special is happening between them. It's amazing. I'd love to quote part of the fic for you, but I don't want to ruin the surprise, read it! :D

Title: Wine and Pleasure in Equal Measure

There's an awful lot of flirting (so much flirting!), sexual tension and that promised hot smut I told you about. ^^

This story is so good, so hot, so incredibly hot! Though I guess before I should add a disclaimer of sorts. I personally know very little of the BDSM lifestyle, so I can't speak for non-fictional accuracy, but in my humble opinion, it was incredible.

It starts when Blaise, who owns a sex club, invites Draco to be his investor, he takes Draco to see the club, and god, Draco's reactions to everything he sees, this completely unknown world to him, are so intriguing and tempting. And it's in this same club he meets Harry, Harry who is an experienced Dom. And Draco wants, and let me tell you, Harry wants just as badly. Only at first Draco doesn't want to admit it, doesn't want to acknowledge, and it's Harry's job to make him see it means everything.

It's hot, super hot, but it's more than that, the way their relationship evolves from those first times when Draco wasn't sure what he wanted, to fully trusting Harry, giving himself and admitting this is something. Delicious. Yessss.

Title: Until It Rains (Don't Keep Me Waiting Too Long)

This story is lovely and emotional. It kind of says two stories at the same time.

One is about Harry and Draco's first time, back in their 8th year, how it started, when it was all rushed and exciting and confusing, and it also says the story of their second time, after seeing each other for the first time after several years, and how they feelings haven't changed. It's beautiful and touching and sexy. God, so many amazing moments. You'll love it.

Title: An Aching Soul

This story is just amazing. God. As the summary says, after the war Draco escapes to the Muggle world. He finds a place where, well, it's not that he "fits", but it's a place where no one cares about his past, where no one looks at him with scorn, where he can lose himself and be anyone or no one.

However, everything changes when Harry start showing to the same club Draco is used to going. And Harry is so different than Draco expected. He looks free, untroubled. But nothing is as simple as that, because Harry in his own way, he's running away, too, hiding from his own problems and grief, and eager to lose himself.

Only they find each other, they talk, and whatever misconception they have of the other, once they start knowing, really knowing each other, they realise maybe they are not so different after all and maybe together, they can heal and move on.

Trust me, it's gorgeous, the way Draco reacts to Harry, the way he starts wanting him and Harry Draco, is incredible. It's intense and sexy, and yeah, it's hard at times, making yourself vulnerable but God, it's gorgeous to see it happening. I'm telling you, amazing.

I'm using the 'drug use/addictions' tag, but it's as the author's warnings say, sex and drugs are used as a coping mechanism, this is not an addiction story, I'm just being cautious. ^^
