Isn't it weird, and, if I may say so, even leaning toward rude, to comment on a rec post by saying it's not like your favorite fic? Maybe it's just me not being familiar with unwritten rules of fandom but it baffles me. I don't mean to offend, but it surprised me to see here on LJ where people seem so polite.
