Summary: After the war, Draco works at a tv repair shop and Harry breaks things. Feat. sad boys in jumpers and more ABBA than is probably necessary.

This is such a lovely story. Just lovely.

It starts with Harry finding Draco working at a Muggle Repair shop while taking Ron's record player to get fixed. And it's such a surprise, it kind of throws him off, but not in a bad way. Just, in an unexpected way and he can't help himself, so he obviously comes back. First with broken things he buys second-hand, that at first aren't even broken ("It only needed batteries,") and then really broken stuff ("Did you take a hammer to it, then?" – Harry had), just so he could keep seeing Draco.

The characterisations are beautiful. Draco's a little bit rough around the edges, different, but so is Harry, and they can relate to each other in ways. You can see Draco is intrigued with Harry showing up so often, see through the excuses, they start seeing each other – for real, how the war changed them. It's like Harry had been a little lost, and with Draco, in that shop, he feels maybe he found what he was looking for. It's only a matter of daring for more, to turn this friendship of sorts into something amazing.

Here's a little quote from early on in the fic that I love, and I think you'll love, too:

He likes that everything here is a little worn, close to broken or recently fixed, but still usable. He thinks that might be part of the reason he feels so comfortable here, because he identifies a lot with that.
