Title: For Love of a Family
Author:
icicle33
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 30,000
Summary: A series of attacks by a group of neo-Death Eaters causes the Ministry to implement a new set of restrictions on former Death Eaters and their children. When Scorpius falls ill, Draco decides that he will do anything to save his son, even if it means marrying Harry Potter.
Have you heard how the first page of a story is probably the most important one? Well, if you haven't, you're going to understand it when you start reading this fic.
And I don't mean the rest isn't good, because it sooo is, it's just that once you start you're going to be dying to know how they got to that point, you know? And the rest of the fic delivers, too!
You see the summary? This story starts right there, with Harry and Draco's marriage already having happened, and it moves backwards and forwards through the story, how they got to that place, and what happens beyond that moment.
And it has all these emotions too; Harry's longing for a family it's almost painful, and this letter he writes to Draco, gods, it's going to squeeze your heart in the best of ways. A most enjoyable read, I assure you. It's a lovely story.
