Summary: Eighth year isn’t exactly going to plan. Harry is definitely not running away, Draco is definitely not impressed, and it’s almost definitely not going to stop raining.

This fic is just delightful. It's kind of gentle in an intense way, and the pace and progress of Harry and Draco's relationship is just lovely.

It starts with Harry coming back to Hogwarts to help the renovations and then for his 8th year, and so does Draco. They start sharing these quiet moments by the lake and soon it turns to more.

Problems start when the school – and the whole wizarding world, really – find out they are together. There's pressure from Harry's house, there's harassment from the rest of the school towards Draco, and it gets so bad that one day, as they were wishing they could run away they do. It's completely unplanned. They Apparate to a Scottish village and stay there for a few weeks. They kind of get ~adopted~ by this really awesome older lady who lets him stay in a cottage in return of them doing odd jobs here and there. And it's in that village that they can be, their relationship becomes stronger, they are free. Of course eventually they have to face their real lives, but together, strong, everything is possible. :)

Summary: Draco's life after the war is quite different than it used to be. When he finds himself cursed, with little hope for lifting the spell, he sets out to make the most of the time he has left. Getting to know his Aunt Andromeda and his young cousin Teddy feels like a good thing to do, even if it can't help him in the long run...or can it?

This fic, oh god, so wonderful! The thing is, well, as the summary says, Draco's been cursed, the nature of the curse it was to prove that no one could ever love Draco, and he would die – waste away – in a determined amount of time unless someone fell in love with him.

And you know, at first he tries to find someone who would love him, in his own way, he did try, but soon enough he gives up and tries to make the best of the time he has. He wants to reconnect with his family, and this means Andromeda and Teddy, and of course, Harry is always there. And oh my god, you can tell where this is going yeah?

Yep. I'm not going to say anything else. Wait, actually I am going to say more, because Draco meeting Teddy and spending time with him and Andromeda and Harry and the people who matter to them because he cares about them is just so sweet and wonderful. :) But yeah, that's all I'm going to say.
