Summary: He thought back on their previous handshakes, and smiled faintly at the fact they always seemed to mean so much more to him than they did to Potter.
Oh, the feels on this fic, the gorgeous angst and fluff!
After a more or less uneventful 8th year at Hogwarts, Draco joins Auror training, which he hates, however, when Harry and Draco start a more or less friends with benefits thing, it's when things change for Draco. The thing is, Draco has feelings for Harry, but Harry, he's not there yet at all. He hasn't even come to terms with his sexuality, and eventually Draco can't take it any more. He quits Auror training and moves to France with his mother and starts a Potion Masters speciality.
He's away for many years, but it isn't until he's offered a position in St Mungo's and learning Teddy started taking Wolfsbane he decides to come back, and by then, himself and Harry are different people. But do they feel the same? Can they be friends, more?
