Rating: PG 13
Word Count: 44,600
Summary: When Harry Potter hits the lowest point of his life so far, it is not his friends who keep him honest. With Draco Malfoy's patience and guidance, Harry learns to stand on his own. The thing is, after the fact—he's no longer sure he wants to.
Warning(s): depression, suicidal ideation, acute self-hatred, and self-worth problems.

This story is gorgeous. It's angsty, but it's not the sort of angst that tears your heart out and then glue it back together, no, it's a slow, gentle realisation of exactly how depressed Harry is, how deep his issues run.

I suppose it doesn't say much if I don't tell you what the story is about. You see, Harry has barely been eating, hardly sleeping and after worrying his friends beyond what he can bear, he agrees to go to a therapist, who is Draco, but he knows the therapist is Draco, he chose him and he is even willing to talk and open to Draco. And he does, with Draco's gentle prodding and patience Harry start talking about himself, his nightmares, his lack of direction and he is, not pushed, rather nudged to get better, he finds encouragement to try.

And that's what this story is about, Harry's it's about recovery, it's about finding himself, allowing himself to realise of his own worth, beyond what he's done, but simply because he is who he is, a person, a wonderful person who stopped seeing himself as such.

It's beautifully written, the characterisations are fantastic, and trust me, as much as it might hurt seeing Harry so depressed, it will also remind you of all the reasons why you love him.

Title: Give Me a Quiet Mind
Author: [livejournal.com profile] calrissian18
Rating: PG 13
Word Count: 16,200
Summary: Draco is Weasley’s assistant. Except for the week he’s not. Whose brilliant idea was that again? Featuring offices in Edinburgh, an epic Measley Bromance (that no one will admit exists), several unrequited crushes, fantastical revenge scenarios, coffee snobbery, the dreaded – yet adorable – toddler terror, promises of organ swapping, a play about Scottish history (no one cares), sequins, and the League of Snarky Secretaries!
Warning(s): Non-Magic, Contemporary AU

I love non magical AU stories when they are well written, (like this story!) which is just so much fun.

Draco is Ron's assistant in a RP company which is trying to woo the company where Harry works and while Harry is there, he requests for Draco to assist him, but not in the way you're thinking! Well, not completely in the way you're thinking. ;)

There are long-standing crushes, gossip, coffee love, misunderstanding and it's brilliant all around.

If you don't like AUs, this is the sort of story that will change your mind.
