Title: A Year in Training

Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 25,400
Summary: Harry is finally living his dream and training as an Auror, but nothing seems to be going right: he’s just so angry all the time. And Draco Malfoy’s presence on the programme really isn’t helping with that, either. Remix of Tension by

This story is truly fantastic.
The thing is, I love reading about Harry being great, about him being the best Auror, about him finally catching a break and being happy without concerns. But I love reading him like this, too; struggling. Struggling with training, struggling with his sexuality, with his attraction to Draco—Malfoy, because after reading this, and then comes the acceptance and that feeling of fulfilment, it's such a beautiful thing, and this is it; this story is about that.
This story is about Harry being human, insecure and flawed, and finally finding himself, accepting himself, and through all this, the big role Draco plays in Harry's life.
It's beautiful, seeing Harry and Draco change from boys to mature men, and getting a glimpse of everything they can be, and are, actually, together.
