Title: Bad Faith in Name, But Gracious in Nature
Author:
megyal
Rating: R
Word Count: 13,300
Summary: Wizarding children have developed a life-threatening condition caused by an old curse. The cure is to be found in the Malfoy Library; surprisingly, Malfoy is willing to help, but only if Harry helps improve his standing in the Wizarding community.
This is a lovely, light-hearted story. As the summary says, Harry needs something Draco has, and Draco is willing to give it to Harry, in exchange of something else. He wants for Harry to help him clean up his imagine, and be, in short, his fake boyfriend.
And they go. What I like about it, it's that Harry goes into it willingly, all too willingly, actually. Not huge tantrums or drama. And the same goes for Draco, though it was his idea, he's still very amenable to it. There's this scene where they discuss how to be better fake boyfriends… okay, you know where that's going, yeah?
It's delightful, and a most enjoyable read.
