Title: Revelations and its sequel Further Revelations
Author: [livejournal.com profile] corvidae9
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 28,000 Aprox. (Adding both parts)
Summary: Harry knows how he survived the last battle... working out why and what comes next is a different story entirely. // Harry and Draco come back from their impromptu holiday and face the press, shocked Gryffindors, disgusted Slytherins, fugitive Death Eaters, and the prospect of a month of nonstop revision, each more lethal than the last. They probably should have stayed in France.

Harry defeated Voldemort, however, he had the help from the most unexpected source, and after everything was done with, his elusive helper refuses to be acknowledged. But Harry is very persistent, and he won't desist until Draco's actions are recognized.

This story is very fun to read, with Harry who keeps imagining alternative versions of the articles written about him, while at the same time trying to figure out Draco.

The sequel is about both of them leaving after the shocking revelations they are in fact an item. Funny and lovely.

Title: Snapshots
Author: [livejournal.com profile] elfflame
Rating: PG 13
Word Count: 5,700 Aprox.
Summary: Draco wakes up in a strange place, with Harry Potter watching over him.

This is a lovely story. Draco wakes up next to Harry, but he doesn't remember anything of their life together, and so Harry shows him an album, and tells him everything; how they came to be together, how Draco's memory lost started and what has happened since.

It's such a gentle story, and it has beautiful art accompanying it.

Rating: PG
Word Count: 35,000
Summary: Rembrandt's phrase in describing his painting: "Die meeste ende di naetureelste beweechgelickheijt", can be translated as greatest, most natural movement (emotion or motive).

There are so many great things about this story I don't even know how to list them.

I think what I love the most is that the characters, Harry, Draco, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny, all of them, they feel so much as they've felt on the books. I mean, they have changed, obviously, after the war, but the characterizations are so fantastic that it has that Hogwarts Era fic intact. There's a bit of awkwardness and a mystery, and characters growing up, and yet there are things they can't quite face, and the way Harry and Draco can actually talk, it's just brilliant, all of it.

Title: Undesirable No.1
Author: [livejournal.com profile] alexis_sd
Rating: R
Word Count: 11,000
Summary: Draco Malfoy had always respected and protected the Old Ways. That was, until they suddenly interfered with his way of life and his firm abdomen. Now he desperately needed to reason out with Potter or better yet to trick him…

After a one night stand with Harry, Draco seems to be a little pregnant, and even though he doesn't want to have it, at first—oh, alright, he's in a foul mood through the whole pregnancy, but Harry is being very persistent, and always ready to make things easier for Draco, and has the patience of a saint, too. But his perseverance pays off in the end.

Title: Volunteers & its sequel Ember to Ember
Author: [livejournal.com profile] annafugazzi
Rating: R
Word Count: 148,000 Approx. (adding both parts)
Summary: Written for livejournal's Beltane Fic Exchange: Harry, Draco, and a volunteer position that was supposed to be quick and easy.

Harry and Draco are partnered as Volunteers to help with the Beltane's celebration.

Draco has left the magical world behind, he lives in the Muggle world, and he's a teacher, but when you learn what he teaches and what he does you're going to fall in love with the concept. He has a son, too, and so does Harry. Though this fic follows HBP cannon, so it's not Scorpius and Al or anything, but they are so cute, all the children on this story.

I think one of the things I like the most about this story is how gradual it is. They don't just meet again and fall in love, they get to know first, working together, learning about how many things they have in common, including one major attraction for each other, but more than that, they come to like and respect one another.

It's pretty amazing. And the sequel is their relationship evolving into something more serious, how it affects their lives and the lives of those around them. Also amazing.

Title: Where the Shore Ended and the Sea Began
Author: [livejournal.com profile] penguin474
Rating: R
Word Count: 17,000
Summary: When visiting Draco in Finistère, Harry disappears. Draco is sent to prison for his murder, on circumstantial evidence. But Harry's body is never found, and whenever Draco is near the sea, he senses Harry's presence.

There's an air of melancholy about this story, and it's just that so much of it Draco spends missing Harry, thinking about him, contemplating the sea, its sounds, and feelings Harry's presence with it.

He's living half a life, always with Harry on his mind, looking for him, remembering him. It's beautiful and sad, but it's worth it, because there is a happy ending.

Such a touching story, about the difference a single person can make in our lives. Lovely.
