Title: Chasing Time
Author:
taradiane
Rating: PG 13
Word Count: 30,700 Aprox.
Summary: Happiness is temporary, but joy is not. After everything that your father took from him, we owe it to him to try and give some of it back. The debts that we owe the Potter boy cannot be numbered, and what we took from him cannot be measured, but you will find a way, and maybe then, you can find a little joy of your own."
This is a lovely, very gentle story about grief. It's not depressing, not in a way that will make you sad, but it will touch you. Harry's sadness after he's lost his wife, his difficult to even believe he will find someone else.
And then there's this man, this new man in his life, that came in a moment when he needed him, but it doesn't start in a romantic way. This man, who, okay, it's Draco, but he's keeping himself under Glamours, wants to help Harry, and does, first with his business (and boy, you're in for a treat about Harry's occupation) and then as a friend, confidant, who made his slow way into his life and gives him hope again. But it's not that easy, not when Harry realise who he truly is.
A bit of angst, a bit of fluff, and plenty of hurt/comfort. Just lovely.
