Title: Six Ways In Which Harry Potter Was Like Bambi's Dad (And A Few Ways In Which He Wasn't. At All.)
Author:
brummell
Rating: R
Word Count: 6,800
Summary: See title; it's a bit more literal than it seems. PLEASE read the warnings! This is set in a post-DH AU wherein the death of Voldemort has not led to the stability and peace that everyone expected; Harry and an underground New Order are fighting to free the Wizarding World. Or something.
Warning(s): Mpreg
It took me a while to read this story, all because I couldn't get past the "But it's a deer!". And I was a fool, because this story is quite incredible.
Draco gives birth to a natural Animagi while Harry is away. And yeah, it's got a cracky premise, but the story is so very special and touching, and very possible in a magical world where so many things are. And it's like nothing you've read and nothing like you expect it to be. It's amazing, it's what it is.
