This is an adaptation of the movie The Butterfly Effect, but don't worry if you haven't seen the movie, I haven't and the story holds on its own, and it's brilliant.

This is Draco, right after the war, about what him and his family suffer, but you see, a bit into his 8th year he realises his dreams are changing the past, and so he tries it, he tries to change his fate, but in doing this it obviously affects everything. He changes it again and again, never quite managing the happiness he was going for, but don't worry, the ending it lovely. It's very powerful, this story, engaging, hopeful and sweet in many ways.

I watched it but I was maybe 17 at the time, I can't remember it at all -- though I vaguely remember thinking it was good. No matter, though. The story is perfect xD

I have been sitting here for so long, unable to believe you actually recced the very first H/D story of mine that people have read, you have no idea. I've been stalking your recs for over a year, and I screamed so loud when I came on here and saw this!
