Draco has been a statue for five years, and placed into Harry's home. One day, out of the blue, he's back to being human, and he's not amused at being dressed with women's clothing, or appreciate being used as a coat rack or hidden under Moody's old bowler hat.

Yep, Draco Malfoy is not longer a statue, and he's not happy. And so now Harry's living with a warm and breathing and kicking Draco Malfoy.

Chaos ensues.

This is hilarious.

In some ways this story sort of reminds me of Bond (already recced here).

They find themselves in this situation in which their lives are tied and they are young, boys almost. Yes, they are both war wounded, and their have their scars, and their sorrows and regrets they carry on their shoulders, but they are also young, and they are trying to move on, to live the rest of their lives, too. And trying so very hard to do what's right and they want each other so much and still fighting against it because they don't know what to do at times.

Draco is serving his probation at Hogwarts and Harry is also back for his 8th year, but one night together changed their lives for ever.

There's strange magic at work on this story, too, and it gives it a dreamy quality to it.

I know it doesn't make a lot of sense (or does it?), but this story is touching, and beautiful and epic and if you haven't read it, you should, because Harry and Draco are amazing here.

This is "The Amazing Race" wizarding style. And don't worry if you have never seen this show, because you're going to love this story anyway. I should know, I've never seen it, and I didn't need to to understand this story, let alone to LOVE it.

It's Harry and Draco around the world, and there are tasks, and adventures, and annoying fanboys (that Draco just hates), and bickering and UST like woah,.

And it's so funny and entertaining! And sexy, I mustn't forget all the sexiness.

The Venice Job by nishizono

The Venice Job is this fantastic Auror fic, but what I love so, so much about it, it's that the evolution in Harry and Draco's relationship moves along with the plot.

They are out there, on this mission in Venice to catch these criminals but at the same time there's all this tension between them, and they are both wanting each other so badly, and fighting it until, honestly, they can't fight it any more.

And Draco is so funny on this one, you'll see it from the first line.

I loved it. Another favourite of mine.

Well, yes, it's very inconvenient that Harry was turned into a vampire, what's even more of an inconvenient is that it's Draco that who does it for him, the hunger, I mean.

And this is because Draco is such a bloody tease (pun totally intended here).

This is a fantastic, funny and original creature story, even if vampire creature fics are not your thing, even if bloodplay isn't your thing (it's not really mine either, but it's very mild & brief here and it totally fits the story) you should read this one because it's super entertaining and very sexy. One of my favourites.
