Seeker, Chaser, Keeper by VivacissimoVoce

Title: Seeker, Chaser, Keeper
Author: faviconVivacissimoVoce
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 60,000 Approx.
Summary: Rumor has it that a wealthy investor is starting up a brand new professional Quidditch team and he’s looking for players. Harry and Draco both want to make the team, but there can be only one Seeker. Will competing for the position bring them closer or drive them further apart?

This story is a lot of fun. Both Harry and Draco want to make it to this new team, and they do, too, but I'm not going to spoil you telling you how. :D

The thing is, when I started reading this fic I thought it was going to focus mostly on Harry and Draco’s competitive nature, but this story is so much more than that.

Of course they are plenty competitive, oh yes, and it's awesome, but then there's lovely exploration of each other, it has great characterisations - not just of Harry and Draco, but all of them, and it's going to surprise you. It's sweet and fun, but it has that something that Quidditch fics give you, maybe it's because you feel the excitement of the game through them, but their relationship, the pace it moves and how it develops is amazing.

This is going to be my last rec for over a week. I’m going on vacations, but when I return I’ll add all the authors to the fests that made the reveals post while I’m away. In the meantime, enjoy the fics & fests. <3

Did you have the chance to read Becoming Us yet? I've loved it too! ♥

FYI, here is a file downloader that still works on ff.net. It's a little tricky to figure out at first, but I've been using it for awhile and I can send fics straight to my kindle in mobi format without having to load the file or convert it on my computer. I mostly only use it for ff.net stories because they are so fan unfriendly anymore. AO3 is still where I get most of my fics. I couldn't be happier that so many people are choosing to archive their stuff there.

I <3 your recs! I need you to be on vacation, though! I am still back on 'The Unbearable Burden of Caring', so I need a week to catch up.

I have no idea where I'd be without AO3! It's a godsend for peeps who use ereaders.
