I cannot believe I haven't recced this story before, because it's one of my absolute favourite fics in the whole world.

It's not only hot as hell, it's so emotional and intense as well.

After a one-night stand, which Harry believed to be more, Draco reveals he's getting married. Harry never quite forgot his night with Draco, but life went on. Then one day Draco has an accident, which Harry witnessed, and Draco's wife and unborn child died. Draco after seeing Harry there blames him, and that's when Harry truly decided to move on with his life.

But a while after Draco sends Harry an Owl asking him to meet, just to talk. Harry agrees and discovers he was never past Draco as he thought. From then on they discover together new ways to be together, to love and make love.

This is such a superficial description of such an amazing story. If you're squicked by watersports or think you are, I assure this story is nothing like you're thinking, it will surprise you in its tenderness and how insanely hot it is. This author even admitted this might be the hottest thing she ever wrote, and if you know her you know what she means.

It's a pleasure to read in every way.

I have noticed you favour stories Harry centred *nods* and even though this fic was from Draco's pov rather I thought you'd like it. It's very angsty and intense and hot and a million things that I know you also love.

It definitely was to my taste! I adored the bits of emotionally!hurt!Harry and worried!Harry. :) I can't exactly tell you why I love hurt!Harry so much more than hurt!Draco.

Hurt!Draco doesn't nearly provoke the reaction in me hurt!Harry would do. I guess it stems from the fact that Harry is my most favorite character, and I like seeing Draco in the comforter role because I often picture him to be a proud little prick, who would not easily admit to himself that he loves Harry.

On seeing Harry injured or hurt, I want to see Draco's veneer crack, want to see how much he cares. And last but not least, Harry deserves a little bit of comforting after all he's been through.

Well, while I'm at it, I like it even more when Harry is a bit reluctant in accepting the comfort, when he tries to hide his injuries or plays it down as being "nothing at all", "just a scratch", "I'm fine". :D And then later on because he's not fine at all, of course, he needs really help and that's when Draco cares for him. :)

Harry always evokes all sorts of tender feelings of me, too. He's also my favourite character, so when he's hurt and someone is taking care of him it's just lovely.


Have you read A Secret History? It's the most beautiful Hurt!Harry story ever. Though he's hurt in a mentally and psychological manner. And Draco is so protective of him, but not on this mushy gushy sort of way. It's lovely and I think it's right up your alley.

Also Landslide has a hurt!Harry, in a more physical way and he's all "I'm fine", too. And Draco cares for him. It's beautiful, too. Also Unkissed Kisses and Songs Never Sung. This one has hurt (and bleeding) Harry. And it's beautiful, too. :D

Oh, oh, ohhhh! You've wracked your awesome brain library and came up with more fics for me to read and enjoy! OH! And these are all hurt!Harry fics. *dances* Thank you, thank you, thank you for each of these! I hope I can start reading the first one tonight. :) I'm so excited!

(Btw, I adore fics to pieces even when there is just a little, tiny scene of hurt!H in it. "Coffee, Cakes and Doorknob Snakes" by omi_ohmy comes to mind. There is just this little scene (and it really is barely a page long) in which Harry gets hurt and Draco rushes to his side to help him. lol Very satisfying!)

They were all awesome and had such a beautiful hurt!Harry in it! And a caring Draco, who was incredible.

"Unkissed Kisses and Songs Never Sung" brought tears to my eyes. So sorry for Harry, but so glad he had Draco with him and Draco was so very devoted here.

"A Secret History": OMG how terrible! How utterly terrible! I had so much hate for Arthur here. GUHHHH But Draco was awesome. I love it when he cares for Harry in a Draco-ish way.

"Landslide" was beautiful! I love how they were both caring for Teddy and each other.

Landslide has such beautiful prose, yeah? That sort of writing is amazing. Unkissed kisses is just lovely, sexy, sad and hopeful all aroudnd. And A Secret History, that was love at first sight with me. One of the first H/D fics I read and it still is. One of my forever re read stories. <3
