Dawn by kedavranox
Title: Dawn
Author:
kedavranox
Rating: NC 17
Word Count: 30,000
Summary: The Aurors tend to assume that someone broke in That Night, and Harry doesn't want to make them think otherwise. He doesn’t want them to know that it wasn’t a break in at all. That it was Harry’s fault... that he let it happen.
Warning(s): Abduction, Non-Con
This story really has a certain disturbing feel about it, as it should be, because Harry has a stalker, one that has attacked him, and what's more, it makes Harry feel it's his fault it happened.
Harry has been attacked, and Ron, as the Head Auror, has put Draco, the best Hit Wizard in the Ministry, in charge of his security. But Harry, the thing is, Harry doesn't want to live like that, with a 'babysitter' of sorts, and maybe you'll think he's being stubborn, but you'll see his way, you'll understand why he refuses to be afraid.
It's the sort of story that will keep you on the edge of your seat because you keep waiting for something to happen, and it does, little by little until it's caught on you fully, just like it did to Harry, and shock you, and you'll feel with him the impotency of it all.
But through all of this, what goes through between Harry and Draco is lovely, filled with UST, and then sexy and sweet.
It's a gorgeous suspense story.

I'm a bit worried because of the Dub-con/non-con element. I hope it's not that bad.

The dub-con is not between Harry and Draco, and it's not overly explicit, you know? The worst of it happens off screen. And there's hurt!Harry that I know you love. And UST, which is soon resolved, the best kind!

I've finished reading "Dawn". Oh dear, but hurt!Harry is wonderful! He is soooo very IC, and I felt so very much for him the whole time! I also loved protective!Draco. He is so hot! And Harry being all professional with his broom..... argh! Awesome fic!

By the way, why did you include the first time tag? Do you define that tag as first time for H/D?
no subject
The first time tag is the one I use when they get together for the first time, it's the opposition to the 'established relationship' tag, which is when they are in a relationship already. It's got nothing to do with if they are virgin or not, it's about them being with each other for the first time.
Sometimes I don't use the tag at all, if a fic is about them going out in a first date, or a first kiss, and the story doesn't hint to sex.
I've been thinking about adding more tags, but I don't want the tag system to get too confusing.
