It's, as kinky as those warning sounds, incredibly intimate, romantic and tender. It's about trust, and giving yourself.

What an unusual fic. I've never seen this kink used before in this fandom. What made me finally read it was the promise of "fisting presented as the ultimate kind of closeness."

I like seeing ultimate trust and devotion in fics, and I wanted to see how this was handled here. And, ob boy, it was handled exquisitely. It seemed more as though fisting was working as a metaphor here for the deeper meaning behind it all, for Harry to finally let go and open up. It was really beautifully done! I know! About the metaphor, I loved it how exactly Harry let himself go. And there was so much left unsaid, too! I mean, how it came across on the fic. I loved this fic, I'm so happy you did too!!

It also felt so real because - in my mind - I see canon!Harry as a person who hasn't learned to deal with his emotions. He hasn't had any opportunities to open up to someone. To whom could he have done this? Certainly not the Dursleys. So, that's why I think he has issues with letting go. Maybe even trust issues. Harry doesn't like to talk about his emotions. That's the way I picture canon!Harry. And that's why this fic feels so real. Thanks for the rec!

Yes, I think Harry would have problems letting himself go, I mean, with him being always the one in charge, or rather the leading, it'd take a lot of trust for him to open like this. *nods* That's also one of the many things I loved about it.
