Summary: This is for twistedm. It's a little bit of Harry/Draco whimsy inspired by her comment that rather than casting Ginny as a villain, she prefers to see her "doing something amazing and feminist and far, far away.
What a fantastic story. I've meant to rec this story for ages, but first I wanted to re read it to remember all the details, and someone (thank you, anonymous commenter! :D) reminded me of it. And I did, and yes, yes, yes, it's everything I remember it to be and more.
Ginny, as ~summary~ says, is far, far away (First witch in Space!), but the story isn't about Ginny, it's about Harry, Harry and how frustrated he is, how little adventure his Auror career gives him lately, and about Draco, showing up in the right moment to throw everything skew. Because of course he's up to something (when isn't he?), but for a change, Harry doesn't just want to find out what he's up, he has a reason, and I quote:
And it turns out, it doesn't even matter because he wants into his pants no matter what. What Draco is doing is totally cool and unexpected, and he will sweep Harry off his feet. And it's going to be glorious and sexy and fun, and everything Harry had been missing from his life.
This fic has a very short sequel: Gravity. A glimpse of their time together after the end of The Astronaut Phase.
