Yes, I know what you mean about it almost being there - but you'll probably find that its never 100% for you being the maker of it anyway! But you can hope :)
I think that would be a great meme, it would be so interesting for find out what people loved the most, you get an idea when there are ones that pop up on every rec list but this would push people to decide, you should totally do it! I know what you mean by it being difficult though, good job on being able to get down to that many!
